Hewick will not run in the Grand National. In the process of belying his odds of 40-1 with a tremendous performance, the American Grand National winner came to grief two out.

But Ahoy Senor still plans to head to the Bowl at Aintree.

Edwardstone looks to rest until next season.

The Cheltenham Gold Cup hero Galopin Des Champs enjoyed a homecoming parade through his home village yesterday.

3rd place Gold Cup finisher, Conflated, will dodge the National for the Aintree Bowl.

Cheltenham Gold Cup (2005) and dual King George hero Kicking King has died at the age of 25.

Ryan Moore will partner US trained Sibelius in the Gr1 Golden Shaheen come Saturday.

Subjectivist will line up in Saturday’s Dubai Gold Cup.

Royal Ascot has struck a qualifying deal with Gulfstream Park. The winners of the two big juvenile races on May 13 will each earn an automatic entry into one of Royal Ascot’s six two-year-old races.

If you can get to the Curragh on Saturday you may get to see the Derby and Guineas favourite, Auguste Rodin, stretch his legs after the racing.
