Eish! Solar Voyager missed the break but still ran 3rd to earn R8000 so at end of proceedings for this duel today Jet Master is R43 800 ahead. I am enjoying this race more than wining the Durban July - GO CAPPIE GO!!!!

Mistake - was sure the old girl ran 3rd - just seen Tellytrack posted result as 4th.

Solar Voyager ran 4th - so R4000 not R8000 - not that it makes that big a difference

Yeah - I did correct - looked like 3rd - over ambition on my part. Sorry.

Hibs - I must not be drawn to reply to the item reflected in the [paper.li] - to say that CA and JM covered near the same calibre or number of mares in the first FIVE years of their careers would be a grave error. Fact! Geez - JM was Horse of the Year and won 8 Gr1 races and got more and much better mares until very recently. I have analysed their first 3 books. No debate oh this score!

Stormsvlei?

She was a 3 time winner by an unsuccessful stallion (Prince Florimund, great racehorse though) that had produced a couple of multiple winners but hardly top class runners (mr92 by Freedom Land, mr86 by Elliodor, mr76 by Western Winter).
She goes to Jet Master and gets two Gr1 winners!
