Ok its 16 of 35 might be right or wrong? Who cares anymore.

Must say we had a quiz last night via zoom with family and friends which I am glad to say team Kloof won 👍

The drinks cabinet has now become an emergency area.

Would like to thank you all for some thought provoking posts on the thread.

We are making easter eggs for the kids today, including painting them, the eggs not the kids but sure to be messy.

Weather here still hot and sunny, i have been tasked with easter sunday lunch and a bit nervous.

It would appear Australia coping well with almost 20 separate race meetings on today.

For my playlist selection today I am going with Croby, Stills and Nash.
Its one of my fav bands and had the pleasure watching them live on 2 separate occasions.
They were goosebump material with their special harmony.

.....then again there may not be enough intersections for all the people in need of food.....and should you be nabbed for being out and about you might be taken to a place to be fed.....and if you lucky get a R600 blanket....:S .

......one of the okes at an intersection closer to my home had a pair of boots that cost about 3 Grand and a hairdoo that cost half as much....maybe not beggars but hijackers.....

I believe there are efforts being made to ease the restrictions on alcohol sales - for delivery / collection only - personally I think it would go a long way to 'lighten the mood' (and have to wonder like many others if any representations have been made by racing's bosses to the government ito racing under 'lock-down' conditions) ... and as others on here, I believe the powers that be need to be very aware of preventing the patient from dying ....

I had to go to our local PnP for provisions for the children's home that my wife runs. 2 car guards who told me that they are working alternative shifts with the others and splitting their takings equally and in their critical financial circumstances are prepared to risk arrest.

The powers that be have tough decisions to make

Like others I am beginning to eye the back of my booze cabinet. Strawberry Lips, Jose Cuervo Margarita Mix, Scorpion Mezcal Joven( with a dead scorpion in the bottle nogal), De Kuyper Oranje Bitter.........

these lock down rules that apply to complexes are just pure unadulterated BS

if strict social distancing is practiced, how can jogging and walking your dog in the confines of complex be a threat to spread the virus?

I have to agree with Sly, my neighbours are making me sick. Never knew them before & now I dont want to. In fact, they have become my enemies.
They have to announce everything on the complex watsapp.
"May I go for a short walk in the driveway," "Im next" "enjoy," "I'm back", "take pictures of the flowers for us," " how was your walk?" "look at the lovely moon" photos of their lunches & dinners & dogs, & cats & kids & we all had to introduce ourselves to the group, including pictures, etc etc etc. I count about 40 messages a day, starting at 6.30am. Dont they sleep ??? All of this from 6 townhouses !!!
I was told off for going for a walk in the driveway without getting permission from all the other residents.
I keep my phone on & near me at all times for obvious reasons & it never stops beeping & alerting me to their bullshit.
My neighbours are completely out of hand. They are adding to my misery & I just thank god that my friendly dealer offers a delivery service although I have to go to the gate because no vehicles are allowed into the complex without all 6 residents giving permission.
I am well aware that some of us are in a better position than most others & my heart really does go out to the people suffering more than me. To feel better I make regular donations to the Solidarity Fund & www.backabuddy.co.za/coronavirus-support . Highly recommended !!

Bye the way, my wife is pissing herself, laughing hysterically at this rant, who knows, maybe shes right........
