You will never be able to stop jockeys punting , end of. In the good old days there was no technology like today where you have to be so careful what you say and do.
Veale was unlucky in that he got caught but trust me is he not the only jock in SA that punts !

.......true but luck or bad luck has nothing to do with being caught....he is stupid...why do you think that phones are banned in the jockey rooms.....to prevent them from relaying last minute info....way back in late 70's there was an oke at Telkom that was tapping landlines of top punting Jocks in Alberton and none ever discussed their graft on the phone.....

We should adopt the Japanese approach where jockeys are locked away for weekend meetings. They cannot communicate with the public.

.....there is a lot more to this matter.....possibly a relationship gone sour.....middled/diddled.....or for getting far too cleva.....Veale can really ride.... I rate him but I could never trust him....this now in the open is going to scar him....

Similar thing used to happen in Durban, the telekom technicians used to sell the tapped in information to the local bucket shop.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Unless you as a punter are in the “circle of trust” what chance have you really got.
Maybe they should recruit choir boys to ride but then the smell of crispy new notes will always turn one no matter who you are

Are the lawyers running NHA now? Seems like all these press releases are intended to be as vague as possible for fear of litigation.
Question for Vee Moodley:
There are many high profile people who are "registered owners", are they all now fair game in this guessing game on who the mystery owner is?
