South Africa should win or more like canter in. Have to measure ourselves against better opponents but first we need to win this game.

This WC is going to be a bore feast. Flat pitches and big scores just don’t cut it for an exciting WC.

My interest is quickly going from little to nothing...if there is no contest between bat and ball, give each team 50 overs with a bowling machine and be done with it...bowlers are being rendered worthless in the pursuit of entertainment...well, it may entertain others but it doesn't entertain me so I'll vote by not watching...

I can't believe how short the boundaries are...they've made some boundaries as short as they are for women's cricket...

India play Australia in Chennai on Sunday where the highest ever ODI score posted is 337 and the average score is 230.

If that 337 is beaten then there is no hope for this WC as then we know that the pitches have been doctored for big scores as the crowds are attracted to plenty of 6 hitting thanks to the IPL

Australia batted very sedately with Smith and Labuschagne. Smith out now. If you use up balls and don't go on, you put pressure on the others batters that follow. To me you cannot have Smith and Labuschagne in the same team.

So the 337 not in danger but pitch seems to have been tailor made for Indian spinners...pitch was dry at the start with visible cracks so India will get the worst of the pitch later...if Aus manage to bat their full 50 overs, the combination of heat and pitch usage will wear the pitch more...anything over 220 will be a good game...

Oh dear. Australia 5 down now.

165/8 Aussies only have 10 overs with a top spinner whereas India have a case full of world class spinners. Just hand over the trophy to India already and we all save a lot of time and effort

India 3 down for 2 runs.
