South Africa got a difficult chase of 246 from 43 overs.
Pathetic bowling in the end.
Pressure is on.

What is Coetzee, A doing in the squad and B getting selected to play. He is a one trick pony bowler either short and into the pitch or the occasional slow ball 1/57 off 8 against Netherlands is not what you want
SA lose this they won’t get over it and won’t make top 4. Talking about throwing a huge advantage over England and the Aussies away.

Maybe he was selected for his batting !! 17 off 8 balls currently !!

The Proteas are at least consistent in never failing to disappoint.

Well the Springboks lost in the group stage but are in the seni's so the Proteas will do the same.
That was our bad game.
South Africa definitely goes under pressure when chasing so as far as possible we must set a score.

We only make things are harder for ourselves.
As you stated the other day if we lose the other major teams have a chance to make it.
I live in hope that our cricket team will lift a world trophy sooner rather than later.

I've long since stopped hoping...reality dictates that you cannot win at the highest levels when you don't select your best team but have to bow to social engineering requirements as was clearly in evidence when a clearly unfit Vernon Philander was in the semi final team against NZ in 2015...
And when Lungi Ngidi forced the taking of the knee in support of BLM, my little interest went to a smidgen above zero...
And to compound it, the actual game of cricket has become worthless watching due to the imbalance between bat and ball...so many batsmen with inflated averages helped by a stacked deck...I'd much rather watch lawn bowls where there is some skill and a level playing field...
So, enjoy...
