This is only the 5th ODI match to be played at this ground so difficult to judge what a good 1st inning score would be. If I won the toss I would have a bowl

South Africa can do no wrong.

Australia in both games showed no intent in the opening overs.

South Africa in the closing overs never manage to go big but the score made looks very big now.

With Rabada as first change South African attack looks really good with Coetzee when he plays. Coetzee and Shamsi are very passionate players.

Bowl them out asap and that run rate will shoot up and the Aussies run rate will be even further down

Some days you just need to stay in bed - that's what the Aussies should have done - apart from them catching poorly (to say the least), the 'rub of the green' kept deserting them - from the Rabada LBW (I think the review was made more in hope than expecting it to hit the wickets) to Stoinis' dubious decision (don't think he was holding the bat when the ball struck his glove)

Looks likely to fight for the semi finals. Australia got a mountain to climb now.

South Africa play Netherlands next. Should get to 6 points in that game. I think 14 points will guarantee you a semi final spot with 12 points a chance.

Need to win 4 out of 7 after the Netherlands game.

Thumping win...Aus putting themselves in a difficult position but that's their problem...

We should get to the semi-final and then it's a coin toss...

Still early doors but I think that SA will make the semis along with India, New Zealand and wait for it, Sri Lanka England will slip in there if any of the 4 mentioned screw up

Cricket will be played at the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles. T20 the format in all likelihood.

Couple days ago Argentina took Chile to the cleaners. A bowler conceded 52 runs in 1 over. I have to check if it carries T20 international status.

Afganistan have England on the ropes at the moment.
