What a win by Afghanistan.

Looks like 12 points will be able to get you to the semi finals.

Gives Australia a sniff now.

South Africa looks like a shoe in for the semi's.

Englands grip on the WC is slipping. They now must win at the very least 5 of their remaining matches and considering that they must play SA, Pakistan Australia India Sri Lanka and Netherlands cant see them winning 5

Finish this WC already and bring on the next in SA, Zim and Namibia This format is far too long 12 teams 2x groups of 6 top 2 in each group into the semis Tournament will be over 4 weeks and by shortening it it will hold the fans and watchers captive. This WC is so boring atm it’s like a game of chess just waiting for the pieces to fall into place (semis)

Lost their first wicket in the 22ndvover at 125 and then just barely limped over 200. That’s shocking from Sri Lanka and any hope reaching top 4 must surely be gone

Agree...after 24 overs, they were 145/1...210 all out was terrible...deserve to go out...

SA v Netherlands may not sound or appear to be a huge match, but it is especially for SA. Win and they put clear daylight between themselves and England and Australia in the race for top 4. Lose today and lose on Saturday to England it will then become an upward battle. Win today and they have a free hit against England. Today is the most important match of the comp for SA
