GOOD morning to all.

The latest news is that we have the go ahead for RACING. Well done to VEE and his support base ✋

It’s day 64 and it’s Friday the 29th (my lucky number) of May.

It’s strange, I actually thought Minister Zuma came over rather well, which probably indicates that if she says something that suits me, her IQ level increases? Very strange?

I can’t wait to start discussing the July and Pinatubo for the 2000 GNS.

UK football also plans to restart.

The bottom line is that I am HAPPY and can also buy drinks on Monday .
Still a few bones of contention as far as schools, churches and our poor smokers.

As far as a song for today.

I am not sure if you are familiar with Nothern Soul Dancing?
We went to a club in Edinburgh a few years ago, as spectators and really enjoyed the evening, google it.

HAPPY

Both football and racing in the UK are still subject to Govt approval.

Sat morning on day 65 of lockdown, 30th May.

Look forward to changing the name of the thread to Level 3 on Monday.

Mrs S car would not start yesterday, with the cold weather.
She says she is a member of the AA and I had the number on my phone.
It’s a long story but I ended up going to a meeting.
“My name is Dave and I am an alcoholic “ but looking forward to Monday.

As far as racing there is a massive vibe for the restart and hope we can all get together on a positive vain and give as much support as possible.

I am sure many are involved with racing stables and if you have the same enthusiasm, excitement plus the hard work, dedication coming from stables like Louis Goosen , everything points to happiness.

It’s time to say well done to all the grooms, trainers and support staff for hanging in during these difficult times to keep our horses fit and healthy.
We must just keep the discipline in place.

I am sure, if any challenge arises

We can work it out.

Much the same as Gamblers Annon.
Total abstention until Betfair.

I left early when they said they could not sell liquor during level 3.
Much the same reason when I cut my losses at the Health and Racket.

👍😷🍹

Morning all on day 66 (you’ll get your kicks on Route 66).

Its the last day of May as we move to level 3 in the morning.

It’s Sunday and a National prayer day.

We take a deep breath today that some normality will return on Monday.

Still many discussions re: racing, churches, schools, cigarettes etc.

Elon Musk is sending people into space and I can’t get to Greyville !!

A song for today 🙏

Good morning all.

We now move to level 3 on day 67 of lockdown.

It’s June the 1st and a massive milestone as many return to work.

We have had 630 posts and 30400 on this subject and hope some of our fears and thoughts can be resolved.

The main subject here will be racing as other subjects continue to be contentious issues.

So let’s focus on local and UK racing today on the open threads.

I have slept outside “tops” last night but everyone in good “spirit”.

Here is a Golden Oldie from Deno complete with cig and drink ....
