Morning on day 77.
Racing continues the upswing, plus Ryan and Frankie keep doing the punters a favour.
The cigarette war continues.
Terrible murders in SA.
The incident in the States has now spread World wide and we find ourselves in a horrendous situation.
MJ was in the unusual position to be both black and white.
He left the planet under a dark cloud but no taking away his musical genius.

Day 78 and it’s weekend.
Confusion and concerns continue.
Cigs
Drinks, can we have a U turn?
Virus stats on the increase?
When can I get a haircut, must post a pic.
Racing, would be nice to get a bit communication on how the task team is doing?
On the subject of Racing today.
Curragh:tonight, 2000 gns Siskin 5/2 and Armory 5/1.
Newbury: where you can start with Ryan in the early races and end with Frankie on the later races.
Kempton: Oisin Murphy the man to follow.
Wolves: De Sousa should have a few winners.
One of my fav bands to start the weekend and improved communication to help us during the lockdown.
Is a nervous breakdown the answer?

Should have taken it standing up rather than lying down?
More to follow after I get up.

Sorry about that
Yes day 79 Saturday June 13th
Siskin was impressive in the 2000 gns, the 1000 can also go to the fav with Albigna, hard to beat the O’Brien army but she looks the best.
Ryan and Frankie are at Newbury where Frankie should draw first blood with Tsar
Rascallion is the local banker.
Well done to New Zealand where they expect a 60000 crowd at the rugby today as their fears and thoughts appear lifted.
Congratulations to my golfing friends.
Sticking to my early morning beard theme

It’s Day 80 of lockdown
Let’s have a Peaceful Sunday.
Ryan and Frankie both had winners yesterday but Seamie Heffernan stole the show with a four timer at the Curragh .
He also won the 1000 gns on Peaceful and this is a name that is the total opposite to what is happening on the planet.
These protests and riots are a disgrace to any civilized society, it looks like word Peaceful is no longer an option.
It’s time for everyone to just RELAX

It’s day 81 as we start a new week.
We might be able to open restaurants, hair salons and get a tattoo soon?
Easing of level 3 restrictions, the problem will be, can restaurants still manage to open and do people have money for a meal.
On a brighter note, it’s Royal Ascot this week and a detailed thread will be opened shortly to keep you updated.
I understand the betting for the Queens hat colour has been suspended, however you can punt on the colour of her mask.
The horses for the carriage have been changed to power saving bikes.
Queen bicycle is song for today

Morning and thank you Sly.
It gives me some inspiration, to get up on a public holiday and think of something to post on day 82.
Thoughts and fears, my thoughts are should I have a coffee or a gluhwein on this cold morning?, My fear is that I choose the gluhwein!!!
I am trying not to watch the news but I am generally a nosey bastard, so it makes it difficult.
It’s all just shocking, you would think that people would have more to worry about with the Virus for the future rather than destroying the past.
Anyway let’s leave politics and think about racing at Ascot today, will add to yesterday’s post.
On the subject of a song, it’s a holiday so I am sure you have time for two
Here is one for the great Gary Player
Here is an old song from when I was around 20 and it’s almost 50 years old, which probably is still a message today.....enjoy.

Morning it’s day 83 of lockdown.
It remains rather cold and thoughts and prayers with homeless and shack dwellers during these difficult times 🙏
On the subject of difficult times, racing again finds itself on a knife edge, hope some compromise can be reached going forward.
Certainly no concerns about yesterday’s coverage of Ascot.
This was a true feast of racing and had everything.
I like the chances of Frankly Darling 4/1 taking on the Oaks fav 17/10 on Wed the first of July.
It was a day for the punters and suggest you put your winnings on
