A delayed good morning due to POWER problems.
Itโs day 84 and we have a much needed relaxation on restaurants, hair salons etc.
Ascot was more difficult for the punters but the quality of racing continued.
Selections and comments on racing thread.
Just chosen one of my fav songs by the Eagles.

Not my words;
You may go to a movie, followed by dinner in a restaurant. Then u can go to a casino. U can get a room at the casino, shag a hooker, then get your hair done after breakfast. But you aren't allowed to visit a friend for coffee, & def no smoking! ๐๐๐๐

My reply :
No disrespect to my friends but I am with Cyril on this one

Day 85 of lockdown
Racing appears to have survived another hiccup, fingers crossed.
Stradivarius was amazing yesterday, an update for day 4 on site.
Covid figures are also updated but the deaths reported continue to be very low in proportion to cases and other countries?
Well itโs Friday and thatโs whatโs on my mind
Another golden oldie from scotia

Morning on day 86 of the lockdown.
At least I can have a much needed haircut but have to see a man about a horse first, pics to follow.
Racingโs soap opera continues with all the wheeling and dealing of the past coming to a head.
We really do ourselves no favours.
On the positive side of the game itโs the last day of Ascot, more on the racing thread.
At Greyville we have to keep our Eyes Wide Open to watch Belgarion.
WHO DARES WINS, to finish Ascot, itโs from the SAS but well used by DELBOY over the years.

Itโs day 87 and Fathers Day.
I hope many can have a special day with some family members.
We went to Randjies yesterday to check out Humble Tune, everything looking great but we are in no rush.
Over the moon with the Dawson stable and look forward to some happy days at the clubhouse when normality returns.
One thing I must say is that a Family Race Day would be great.
Remember when Debbie Hawkins used to arrange, always guaranteed a full house, picnics, tote, good racing.
Letโs do it ........task team???
Ascot is behind us and some great memories of Stradivarius strutting his stuff and Frankie stealing the best jock with 150/1 last day treble.
Not to forget HE WHO DARES WINS ....thanks Delboy.
Here is one for the dads.
A real Motown classic from the Temptations.

Day 88 of Lockdown
Another week starts as we attempt to get back to normal .
Must say had an excellent Fathers Day.
Ascot was a great injection for racing as far as viewership and tote turnover and hope we can inject the same enthusiasm for the July.
Just a song for normal people to start the week .
