Same old same old comments. Illegal connections, theft, vandalism..... never Eskoms fault.

Day 107 and a cold Saturday in Pretoria.
As mentioned above, the Power cuts are back, plus virus numbers again on the increase.
This current situation can plays mind games, the line between actually living and keeping to the rules is depressing.
When I collected the car yesterday, I spoke to two chaps, one from Pretoria North ( an Afrikaans strong hold ) and a resident of Thembisa and they both certainly don’t stick to lockdown rules.
Back to racing : Newmarket, Ascot and Scottsville should keep our mind off lockdown and dreams of returning to the track.
When was the last time you enjoyed a big crowd?
Scotland has a poor rugby team but a good anthem
Not sure what happened to the link but they also have poor football team

Seeing that nothing is impossible,, theoretical question..
If lockdown was reinforced, say level 5... and racing was put on hold..
What would happen to antepost market.. for example July? Keeping in mind you can’t postpone indefinitely..
Anyone know the fine print?

Day 109 and the president has spoken.
I am again disgusted with his feedback.
We as a nation are in financial disaster mode, due to years of ANC theft and mismanagement.
Why try the same things and expect a different results?
The black market will thrive, the alcohol ban is a distraction from the real problems we face.
The hospitals are not ready after a premature lockdown.
Major disruptions ahead.
How can a Nation be reprimanded for petty crimes after the ANC has lost billions with no repercussion.
I would add if people are having big parties take action against them not the entire nation.

to be honest nothing he said last night will impact the economy anymore than it already has. However what was could have been a big win for SA turned into a fiasco last night. he could have relaxed lockdown in 5 of the 9 provinces. he could have targeted only hot spots like they previously threatened when Western cape was flying. so lost opportunity.
what does amaze me is the lack of action by the citizenry of SA. I always wondered how Zimbabwe failed.
seems NIMBY is very strong with the SA citizenry.
