Again common sense factor missing
I cant visit my family who stick to rules but I can jump into a taxi ?
I can buy cigs and drinks at inflated price.
I can go to casino, restaurant and shopping centres but cant visit my grandkids who are under strict lockdown rules.

But common sense is not all that common...
Guess we'll just have to meet our families at a restaurant, casino or in a taxi...
It's pretty clear who has the Command Council's ears (or filling their pockets??!!))...and those most affected by the lack of adherence to the regulations are CR's "our people"...sad...
I've got elderly parents and in-laws and the right thing to do to protect them is to stay away from them...keep in contact via phone or WhatsApp or Skype but don't go anywhere near them for their own good...

If this is the "eye of the storm", which we've all been told it is, then why on earth will you increase the amount of people to full capacity in a taxi? Is this not contrary to what you are trying to prevent.
We all know who is running this country and it certainly is not the current Govt, the Taxi associations are calling the roost in SA.

Day 110 and depression sets in.
It’s like we are starting from start with restrictions again.
Going back to the Presidents speech, let’s consider his timing was very devious.
He and his “cabinet” (would have been fully stocked).
We never heard a peep for weeks, we are then informed Sunday night will be the update, but no exact time confirmed.
Exactly the same as previous, with an “immediate” ban on alcohol.
No opportunity to top up except via the black market.
I certainly don’t disagree that saving lives is priority over drinks.
However not everyone is going over the top, having late night parties and ending up needing a hospital bed. Focus on the hot spots.
Plus as explained above, I can jump in a taxi, go to a casino or meet my family in a restaurant, but breaking the law by going to their home.

It’s day 111 of lockdown, with no indication of an ending.
Sorry if I have been going over the top recently but the inconsistency and stress of the Virus situation is getting to me.
My high blood pressure tablets have been increased in addition to my other medication, hope it makes a difference. 🤯
It’s very cold and power cuts also badly timed.
We have been told that staying home and keeping safe is the answer?
Life goes on, but this is life, the virus has no start and end date, or sell buy date.
I am sure it’s ok if you are 40ish and have a life after Covid, but if another birthday is a bonus, it’s not so easy just to sit it out 😷
Well we have the July to look forward to, I fancy 3 horses at this stage.
Rainbow Bridge, Vardy and Soqrat.
I was able to get a confidential video of the Covid task team, planning the next announcement.

The Pres and his merry band. Common sense is like a flower that does not grow in everyone's garden.

Day 112
July betting out on a fantastic card.
It’s a Question of Balance between Humanitarian vs Economy?
Not sure if you remember a very talented bunch of chaps, The Moody Blues?
Big hit was Nights in White Satin.
Question of Balance was a superb album.
