TURFFONTEIN PUNTER ROBBED OF R325k !

The punter took a pick6 at Marshalls on saturday, on the big pool at Turffontein.
For R380, he had 20,6% of the dividend. He had a life changing R421k to come.
Instead he was paid out R96k......
The punter was not aware of the limitations of the OPEN BET. He is not that happy with racing.....

What's a crying shame is that the Tellytrack presenter only found out today that Bookies have limits on the open bet and that the punter, who has 30 years experience might i add had no idea of these limits. Surely Punters are not that stupid??? I feel sorry for the guy, cause that is a large amount of money but how can one be so ignorant? Bookies have had limit's for years. It's hasn't just happened over night!! AND the only reason It's just been made Public is because it's Phumulela and Gold Circle trying to make the bookie like the big bad wolf and they the hero's!!!

Feel sad for the guy. Local bookies are a waste of time. Sporting bet is the way to go. Atleast they stipulate the limit of payout whilst u placing the bet online.

Most, if not All stipulate this. It's up to the punter to read the terms!!

If there is no crookery involved Bob then why did the operator tell that guy that they put up the limit brochure or whatever up the next day.

Muhti.... Those limitation shyte, along with limiting anyone who knows their oats....as in limiting exposure..is y I have no time for bookies. YET..... I punt with the bookies becosy cossy y??? The facilties provided by the operator is SHYTE....hence the bookie gets my bet
