the operator and the bookie has nothing without us punter,we should demand better service from both parties
Bob, why single out the Operator and the Bookie.
Racing as a whole is NOTHING without the Punters.
The Punter has absolutely NO SAY in anything to do with Horse Racing ! NOTHING !! ZILCH !!

Not sure they're stupid just ignorant of the rules.
As someone who has been working in the retail side of the Racing Industry (fixed odds clerk and such) I can tell you i've met Punters who say they been punting for X amount of years and never heard of Dead Heats or Scratching Deductions. these are people that are in the Totes every single day open till close.
They say the Biggest lie ever told is.. I'VE READ THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS. Same goes for the limits that are posted on the walls and notice boards of Totes and Bettingshops.

Taken from Wayne Kruger's interview :
On Sunday morning he (Wayne Kruger) went to Marshalls and decided not to cash his ticket as the ‘money was in the bank.’
It was only after chatting to the teller in the Marshalls branch that he realised to his horror that he had won ‘only R96 000.’
Wayne alleged that the teller had told him that ‘they phoned us to put up the limit notices.’
“I have never been aware of the payout limits and nobody has ever indicated to me that odds limits apply. They didn’t tell me when I took my bet and it is not indicated on the ticket. All I saw was the word ‘Saftote’. This is not the right thing to do,” Wayne told Lyle Cooper.
What's the Verdict ?

what has been said about this topic the fact is this was the operators trying to suddenly pretend to care about the punters.we have a few punters that post on abc and we know what the operators think of them.the person who came up with this idea to use this man should join a kids play group

I think its the 6 % Tax. My Bookie also caught me like that last time.
But Bob says the Bookie is allowed to deduct Tax.

Bob never said he was allowed to, by law he has to
