@blueyonder001
am i missing something or did one of the origional poster allude to the fact that he thought jockey who rode lizzy grey was dishonest i was replying to that post. As far as your post is concerned i have no problem with what you are trying to state and i do understand your point about the stipes report being illogical

I am certainly not making a living out of racing...if i had to rely on racing to live i would be in serious trouble as my selections will confirm, i love the game and it is my favorite hobby, BTW it is hard to respect comments that slate peoples personal life, if you want respect then practise what you preach...

Boys just keep your eyes and ears open or else you will get handled in this game!
Racing is bleeding, not because of the incompetence of the people that govern it, but because of the silence of the customers that accept it!

APPRENTICE Derek Hayden left the racecourse in an ambulance after taking a heavy fall from Hill Farm Dancer at Wolverhampton yesterday.
Hayden was attended by paramedics before being stretchered into the ambulance, and clerk of the course Michael Prosser said: "He said he had some pain in his back and he has gone for x-rays on the back and wrist."
The stewards held an inquiry into the fall, and concluded that it was due to the rider's offside stirrup iron breaking.
But they were satisfied that the equipment had been in serviceable condition before the race, and therefore took no further action.
It seems that our stipes are not alone in their thinking....

Can anyone explain to me that if Kevin Shea was aware that he was about to loose his stirrup irons why did he choose to go to the front of a 10 horse field and run the risk of being trampled ?? surely a stirrup breaking would be a perfect reason for being slowly away???

Some people only see and believe what they want to. Idiom is something like " There are none so blind as those who will not see"

exactly so open your eyes and see what really happened and not just what you want to believe - so much for protection of the public - no malfunction of equipment
