What is wrong with the rule that "if you are not prepared to put your name to what you say,you shouldn't be saying it"
Would a special forum, with that criteria ,not be worth a try? I will bet that it would take over ,in time.

so because one jockey could not tip u 10 winners in a row this particular jock may have thrown his leg out the stirrup risking his life? let me remind people how much money kevin is worth,u know how much money he must make in a single season in dubai?? think of all the multi million dollar races he has won worldwide..would have to be one hell of a sum to make him risk his life in a juvenile plate at greyville

Peg 2 questions:-
1) After the first 2 bets how did you rate him?
2) Do you not think that if it was that easy he would have got on himself and not run the risk of being slated??
If this took place 15 years ago surely by now you should realize 'it 'aint easy"

the worst is when we do our own re-saddling at start and the damn thing still slips.
1 of the reasons, breastplates should be made compulsory like in Aus.
i now use a damp Chamois under the saddle when possible, something i learnt from the Americans in Dubai

We did give you the ride next time out in greyville and you came third, sadly no other jockey ever rode a place again on her except you! Btw it was Alan Sutherland and not my decision to take you off

Perception is stronger than reality. Perception, Shea rides for De Kock, and is sitting on the favourite. Mike himself according to Craig says if the horse breaks the rest is over. Hibs asks the question if Dubai bound, why the dramatic ease in betting. Perception is bookies 'in on the play' shorten the hottie, 1st timer goes walkies and the punter thinks first timer is no good. Boys in the know clean up, leaving the punter sucking the hind tit. In no way am I suggesting this is what transpired as a jockey of Kevin's class and calibre would not risk injury for a mere juvenile plate, but the perception is one that smells rotten and I am sure I am not the only one as a young gun / punter who will tread even more cautiously before spending my hard earned cash on the ponies. Especially with tote manipulation, buses breaking down between Kim and Jhb and the like. The Wild West is here and there is no sheriff in town!!!
Excerpts taken from a few clan members below:
Craig Eudey wrote
Did the stable think they had to instruct Kevin to do that in order to beat the favourite? NO. Mike himself said to me on course that all he was worried about was her getting out the pens safely and the rest was all over.Says she is brilliant.

Let me start by saying I had no interest in the race ,nor did I jump to the conclusion that there was skullduggery, although I was sure the Shea/ De Kock connection would not go unnoticed

Another thing slightly of subject,if the MDK yard was so strong on Emotif lastnight why was she allowed to start at 9/2?
