didnt get that far... the nether regions take quite a beating when feet are out at a full gallop.
why do you think most jocks have high pitched voices???

i know of a wanna be jock that became sterile because he rode bareback for too long!!!

Jockey's do not have a death wish so i really doubt they would intentionally expose themselves to that kind of risk - it happens - A horse i fancied yesterday (Secret Life) dropped Mienie no problem it happens.

Innocent till proven guilty. Surely in such a 'tendor' situation there needs to be a little 'proving' going on. What about a scrutiny of any possible video footage of the irons being or not being adjusted. What about some footage if possible of the jock falling off a horse in or at or near the shoot, which horse had been pulled up 500 meters away, and how when falling, the alleged stirrup leather was removed from the saddle. Perhaps the jock rather dismounted than as roumered, fell. Why then get stood down. Any clanners recall jocks having a full go or perhaps winning a race without irons?

Hibs,my one gripe since joining.............I would love to see posters having to post in own name(FICA rules).........how much more responsible and credible we would be.
I believe that certain posters appear with no other motive than to discredit the site!...........and unfortunately succeed IMO
It gives the authorities a reasonable response of "we don't interact with anonymous critics"

Rob i do checks on members, all new members are on probation ,what else can i do..

An option is to screen all new members posts until they have reached "trusted " status?

posts like the Venter thread get my goat especially when they are started by new members with motives..

Hi guys ± 15 years a group of friends and I purchased a horse and sent it to a prominent trainer in kzn. While @ the stables we met the same "rogue" jockey who offerred us a deal he would call us when a horse was right, in return we had to lay 3000 for the jock nd deposit the winning into his banking account the stake would be returned to us. The first two bets won thereafter it was a disaster nd he started avoiding us when we asked for a freebie to recoup our losses. So wrt Lizzy grey I have grave suspicions somebody got paid a nyc sum to do the job. However the majority of jocks r honest bt this one guy is a ROUGE not world class

Figgy won on big brass a few years back with no irons

Chippy rode my horse Rapara at clairwood about two years ago with a saddle slip from the 400m mark and still managed to fly up for 3rd
